We take safeguarding very seriously.
At Alfreton Park School, Safeguarding is at the very centre of everything that we do and our pupils’ safety and welfare is of paramount importance. We follow Keeping Children Safe in Education (2025) and Working Together to Safeguard Children (2023) closely and this guidance is embedded in all of our policies and procedures.
All staff and visitors are prohibited from having personal mobile phones on when near any pupil. All phones must be switched off and put away at all times.
Our school premises are secure and all visitors must sign in and show proof of identity.
All staff and visitors must wear an ID badge at all times.
