Call Derbyshire – 01629 533190
‘Call Derbyshire’ is open between 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday and 9.30am to 4pm Saturdays to provide you with a speedy and direct response to many of the enquiries we most commonly receive.
Our main aims are:
Our call centre staff are your frontline contact with the council. We have selected them for their excellent customer care skills, their working knowledge of the council, and their willingness to help solve your problems. You will find them friendly and helpful at all times.
The customer care assistant who takes your call will ‘own’ your enquiry and will do everything possible to ensure you receive the information and help you need.
If your customer care assistant needs to take professional or specialist advice in order to help you, they will arrange to call you back at a time convenient to you. If any follow-up action to your enquiry is needed, your customer care assistant will pass on the information on your behalf.

If the school needs to close due to adverse weather we will endeavour to send all parents and transport staff a text message. Please ensure we have up to date mobile phone numbers in the office.
If we need to close during the school day we will ensure that all parents are contacts so please make sure you can be contacts at all times.
School closure will also be announced on local radio stations and DCC website
